I am proud of my vibrant, welcoming staff at Amicus Dental Centers. Each person is eager to assist our patients in achieving, maintaining, and restoring their beautiful smiles.
From clinical to administrative, each staff member is committed to ensuring every patient has positive, memorable experiences and knows we care about them as a person. — Dr. Zaily Montesinos
I am happy when I hear a patient’s positive remarks about our office. It validates all the hard work we do and makes me realize that we do make a difference in people’s lives. This is an amazing practice, with Dr. Montesinos and the team combining professionalism with personal care.
I ensure we are organized and run smoothly: handling everything from coordinating office duties and managing payroll to our marketing. I also manage our supplies, along with office accounting and patient financials.
Registered Dental Hygienist
I like being able to protect a patient’s total health from the decay and infection that can result from improper oral hygiene. Having the ability to educate and inform my patients as they take control of their oral health is rewarding, as is working for Dr. Montesinos and with this team. The doctor is delicate and personal, and my coworkers feel like family.
I review patients’ oral health history, screen them, and remove plaque from and polish teeth during routine checkups. A lot of my time is spent teaching patients appropriate brushing and flossing techniques, which boosts their oral health and overall wellness.
Originally from Pínar del Rio, Cuba, my family and I moved to Florida for a better environment. I am married and have a beautiful daughter. In my free time, I enjoy being outside, especially fishing, and I love to cook, too.
Treatment Plan Coordinator
I love the praise our patients give us and the sense of trust that is earned. There is nothing better than when we can deliver an absolutely stunning visit and reinvigorate a patient’s view of dentistry. Our team and Dr. Montesinos are close-knit. We support and encourage each other so we can provide the best treatment for our patients.
My job entails organizing and scheduling treatment plans for patients and walking each patient through the different financial options we offer. I also coordinate insurance benefits and handle patient billing matters.
Outside of work, I love my husband and our three fur balls: we have a cat and two dogs. I love soccer, too, and my favorite team is Brazil, even though I am Cuban. In my free time, there is nothing I’d rather do than watch a great show or movie.
I like being part of a practice that changes the perspective people have about dentists and the work they do. Many new patients are nervous about seeing the dentist and also worry about a big price tag. Dr. Montesinos and our team prove, time and again, there is no need to be fearful or fret about prices at our clinic.
I schedule patient treatment and remind patients when it is time for their maintenance cleaning. I also call insurance companies to verify patient benefits and coordinate lab cases.
I enjoy interacting with our patients: talking with each person throughout the visit and working hard to make sure people are comfortable while here. Dr. Montesinos is a very gentle dentist and also a perfectionist. She and my coworkers provide a positive and encouraging dental experience for our patients.
I prepare rooms for our patients, then prepare everyone for their procedures, and work chairside during treatment. I take X-rays, fabricate temporary crowns, handle irrigation and suction control, and offer a second pair of hands when the doctor needs me. My focus is always on our patients and their comfort.
I like using my time away from the office to be with my family. I am married and have two kids. We like going to the beach, playing sports, and being together.
I love everything about my job, but most especially helping our patients. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing the smiles, from ear to ear, we bring to our patients. Our patients feel at home here and appreciate that Dr. Montesinos and the team are instructive, supportive, and welcoming.
I prepare the rooms for patients, make sure they are comfortable in the chair, and prep them for the doctor. Working chairside, I assist Dr. Montesinos with the procedure, handling irrigation and suction, as well as fabricating temporary crowns and checking that our patient is comfortable.
I am originally from Pínar Del Rio, Cuba, and moved to the USA more than 15 years ago to start a new life for my family. I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful child. We love going to the beach to relax and soak up the sun. More than anything else, I love quality time with my family.
